In detail
The clip is a hinged lever with an adjustable screw stop, so you can set how firmly it grips before you put it on rather than living with a fixed tension. Nothing passes through the skin. Comfort pads are sold separately if you want to soften the contact points.
Looking after it
Adjust the screw stop a quarter turn at a time. Do not force the lever past its stop.
