Sensitivity filter
Filter by what your ears tolerate
“Will these make my ears itch” is the question this category is really about. We cannot answer it — nobody selling metal can. What we can do is turn it into something answerable: narrow the list to the materials and dimensions that match what you already know about your own ears.
What this is, exactly
A rule-based filter over specification fields we publish anyway: post material, purity, post diameter, whether the piece is inserted into a piercing, and whether it is recorded as suitable during a healing period. Nothing is inferred about you. Meeting the nickel release limit is not a promise that nobody will react. Some people react to other metals or materials — cobalt, chromium, resins and platings among them. If your ears are sensitive, wear a new piece for a short period first and see how it settles.
We do not give medical advice. Questions about piercing, healing or aftercare belong with a professional piercer or a healthcare professional. Everything on this page describes materials and construction only.
