1. Who you are buying from
This site is operated by A & A JEWELLERY LIMITED, a Private Limited Company registered in England and Wales, trading as Lobe.
- Registered office: 12-13 The Oaks Clews Road, Redditch, England, B98 7ST, United Kingdom
- Email: support@aajewelleryuk.shop
- Telephone: +44 7210559084
“We”, “us” and “our” mean A & A JEWELLERY LIMITED. “You” means the person placing the order.
2. What we sell, and what we do not
We sell earrings at retail to consumers. To be unambiguous about the limits of that:
- We sell earrings only. No necklaces, bracelets or rings.
- We do not sell earrings intended for children under 12.
- We do not offer a piercing service and we do not sell piercing tools or needles.
- We do not sell ivory (Ivory Act 2018) or any CITES-listed material, including coral and tortoiseshell.
- We sell consumer jewellery at retail. We do not deal in investment-grade bullion, and we do not buy, refine or trade precious metal.
We sell on a one-off basis only. There is no membership, no subscription, no monthly box, no stored credit and no loyalty scheme. Nothing on this site sets up a recurring charge of any kind.
3. Placing an order
- Adding items to your basket and submitting your details at checkout is an offer to buy, not a concluded contract.
- A contract forms when we send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted and despatched.
- If we cannot accept an order — an item is out of stock, a price was displayed incorrectly, or we cannot deliver to your address — we will tell you and refund anything you have paid in full.
You must be at least 18 to place an order. We do not sell earrings intended for children under 12.
4. Prices and payment
- All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate.
- Delivery is charged separately and is shown in full at checkout before you confirm.
- The price you pay is the price displayed when you order, even if the price changes afterwards.
- If a price is obviously wrong — a mispriced item at a fraction of its normal price — we may cancel the order and refund you rather than fulfil it. We will tell you promptly if that happens.
- Payment is taken through the payment provider configured for this store, on that provider’s own secure page. Card details are never entered on, handled by, or stored on this site. See payment security.
- Deliveries outside the UK may attract import duty or local tax charged by the destination country. Those are payable by you. See delivery.
5. Promotions and discounts
- Free UK delivery over £60 — applied automatically at checkout to the standard UK service, calculated on the goods total including VAT and before delivery. It can be withdrawn or changed at any time, but never after you have placed an order.
- First-order discount codes — one use per person, one per order, cannot be combined with another code, and cannot be applied retrospectively to an order already placed.
- Set discounts — where a set is offered below the combined price of its parts, the “was” price shown is the genuine total at which those pieces are separately sold on this site at the same time. We do not inflate a reference price to manufacture a saving.
- Discounts apply to goods, not to delivery, unless the offer says otherwise.
6. Descriptions, specifications and images
We publish post material, purity, nickel release limit and test standard, post diameter, post length, back type and weight per single piece for every item. Those figures are accurate to normal manufacturing tolerance — small variation between pieces is expected in made metal goods.
Product photography is representative. Screen colour rendering varies, and the small pieces on this site are photographed enlarged so the post and fitting are visible — always read the stated dimensions rather than judging size from an image.
Where a stone is cubic zirconia we say cubic zirconia. We do not describe it as a diamond, or use any term intended to blur the two.
7. Your right to cancel, and returns
Set out in full in the returns policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: 14 days to change your mind on unopened items; opened piercing earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons under Regulation 28(1)(e) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013; clip-ons and cuffs are unaffected; anything faulty or wrongly sent is put right regardless.
8. Faults and our liability
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — that goods are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described — apply in full and are not limited by anything in these terms.
We repair or replace items with a manufacturing fault. We do not cover wear from ordinary use, accidental damage, loss of a back or clutch, tarnish on silver (normal, and it polishes off), or damage from bending a piece out of shape. We do not offer a lifetime guarantee and you will not find that phrase on this site — the specific commitments we make are the ones listed here and in the returns policy.
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else it would be unlawful to exclude.
9. What we do not advise on
We are a jeweller, not a clinician. Nothing on this site is medical advice. We describe what our pieces are made of, how they are constructed and what they weigh. We do not advise on whether to be pierced, on aftercare, on whether a piercing is healing normally, or on what any individual will or will not react to. Those questions belong with a professional piercer or a healthcare professional.
10. Reviews and customer content
Reviews are moderated before publication. We do not publish reviews that make medical claims or allergy guarantees, because publishing them would put a claim on our site that we are not permitted to make ourselves. We do not edit a review to change its opinion, and we do not remove a review for being negative.
11. Intellectual property
The text, photography and design of this site belong to us. Our designs are our own — we do not copy or imitate the signature designs of other makers, and we do not use any third-party brand name or logo anywhere on this site.
12. Website availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of this site. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it, and we will give reasonable notice where we can.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top of this page is when it last changed.
14. Complaints
Email support@aajewelleryuk.shop with your order reference. We acknowledge within one working day and aim to resolve within five. If you are not satisfied with our answer you retain every right to take the matter further, including to your local Trading Standards service through the Citizens Advice consumer helpline.
15. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction. Nothing here removes the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
