Sealed for hygiene — cannot be returned once opened

This piece goes through a piercing, so it is sent in a sealed pack with a tamper-evident seal. Once that seal is broken it cannot be returned for hygiene and health reasons. Unopened, it still carries the full 14-day right to cancel. Faults and wrong items are always put right. Read the returns policy.

Nickel and reactions

Nickel-safe — tested to UK REACH limits (BS EN 1811).

Meeting the nickel release limit is not a promise that nobody will react. Some people react to other metals or materials — cobalt, chromium, resins and platings among them. If your ears are sensitive, wear a new piece for a short period first and see how it settles.

In detail

A long folded sheet form that drops 50 mm from the lobe. At 6.2 g per piece this is a piece to wear for an event rather than a working day: sustained weight on a lobe piercing gradually elongates the channel, and 6.2 g is enough to do it over time. Still below the 7.78 g silver exemption weight, so no hallmark is required. Post is 0.9 mm with a butterfly clutch.

Looking after it
