In detail

A screw-back threads onto the post rather than gripping it, so it cannot slide off if it is knocked. The trade-off is that it only fits a post that has been cut with a matching thread — it will not work on the plain shaft of a butterfly-clutch earring. Check the post before ordering.

Looking after it

Thread on finger-tight only. Cross-threading will strip the post, which cannot be repaired.

    Work well but check your posts first — mine were plain shafts so two of the three pairs were no use to me. That is on me, the listing does say.
